Alexa’s love for animals started with her family’s Golden Retriever that she grew up with, a feisty pygmy goat, and several horses that she adored all throughout her childhood. Her passion for them inspired her to pursue a rewarding career as a Veterinary Assistant, where she’s been able to make a meaningful impact on pets and their families for over 5 years.

Working in an urgent care setting, Alexa is especially passionate about being comforting to patients and their owners. She understands the stress that can come with unexpected veterinary visits and strives to help both animals and their families feel cared for and at ease, even when they are seeking care from an unfamiliar veterinary team.

When she’s not at Priority Pet Care, Alexa enjoys spending time with her family—her husband, two little girls, and their beloved pets. They share their home with two dogs, Arrow and Journey, and a mischievous little cat named Wally. Alexa loves reading, sipping on coffee all hours of the day, and being outdoors.
